Online casino's in New York

New York has not legalised real-money online casino. That means no operator holds a New York licence for casino games, and any site offering them to residents is doing so outside the state's licensing framework. Online casino gaming is not legal. Sen. Addabbo's S2614 / A6027 (30.5% tax; licences for existing casinos, VLT facilities, tribes and online sportsbooks) was reintroduced in Jan 2026 for the fourth year, but Addabbo abandoned the push before the June 4, 2026 session end after Gov. A state that has not legalised online casino has not thereby made an offshore site legal.
