Six of the eight operators here carry at least one documented controversy, eleven between them. As our research recorded them:
Cloudbet (2013), one. A reported Trustpilot score of 3.6 out of 5 across roughly 2,538 reviews with a 21% one-star cluster, and a Pulse feature that publicly shares betting activity by design.
BitStarz (2014), two. Recurring complaints about repeated KYC requests and one-account-per-household enforcement leading to voided accounts, with no reports of outright non-payment. And a change of company and licence, Dama N.V. to Gareton B.V., that many third-party pages have not caught up with.
FortuneJack (2014), two. A Trustpilot rating suspended for a guidelines breach, and multi-accounting accusations used to withhold winnings, documented across eight or more independent complaints since 2016 and characterised as unevidenced. And a no-KYC market position that sits against reports of verification demanded at withdrawal, well below its published AML thresholds of 10,000 USD per withdrawal and 100,000 USD per month.
Bitsler (2015), two. A KYC policy described in opposite terms by different reviewers in 2026: mandatory for every account in one, triggered only by large withdrawals in another. And an unsettled licence identity.
Gamdom (2016), two. A Trustpilot profile reported to carry no rating after a guidelines breach, and recurring complaints about balances frozen during repeated KYC attempts. And a move from a Curaçao licence to an Anjouan one, with Curaçao now on the operator's own restricted list.
Sportsbet.io (2016), two. A reported Trustpilot score of 1.2 out of 5 across roughly 277 reviews, about 81% one star, clustering on withdrawals declined after KYC and frozen balances, though reviewers note most escalated cases end in payment. And a licence identity our sources disagree on, as Bitsler's is, but over a different old number: one review still lists the Curaçao eGaming master licence 1668/JAZ, another the CGA licence OGL/2023/110/0072 issued 22 July 2024.
Bitcasino.io and Bovada carry none. Zero is a fact about what our research turned up, not a finding that nothing happened. Winna, whose 2024 is the most recent founding year on our record, also shows zero: two years of trading and twelve produce the same number. It counts coverage, not conduct.
