USDT is the most widely accepted crypto deposit in online casinos, largely because the balance holds its value between the deposit and the cashout. The trade-off is that the same token exists on several networks, and choosing the wrong one is the commonest way players lose a deposit. This page lists sites that accept USDT and explains the network choice, the failure mode, and what a dollar-referenced balance does and does not remove.
We earn a commission from these. It does not change their score or their place in the ranking below.

USDT is not one thing. Tether issues the token separately on several blockchains, and each issuance is a distinct asset that only exists on its own network. The dollar reference is the same; the plumbing is not. Three networks account for most casino deposits.
TRC-20 is USDT on Tron. Transfer fees are low and transfers confirm quickly, which is why most casino cashiers list it first and often set the lowest withdrawal minimum for it. ERC-20 is USDT on Ethereum. It is accepted almost everywhere and has the deepest support across exchanges and wallets, but you pay Ethereum gas in ETH to move it, and that fee is fixed per transaction rather than proportional to the amount, so it bites hardest on small transfers. USDT on Solana is cheap and fast, and it is increasingly listed, though support is less universal than the other two.
The practical rule is to pick the cheapest network that both ends support. Both ends is the important part. Your exchange or wallet has to be able to send on that network, and the casino has to watch it. A cashier that lists only TRC-20 and ERC-20 will not see a Solana transfer, no matter how correctly you made it.
Withdrawal minimums usually differ by network too, and the gap can be large. If a site sets a low minimum on TRC-20 and a much higher one on ERC-20, it is passing on its own cost, and it is telling you which rail it would rather you used. Check that table before you deposit, because you are effectively choosing your exit route at the same time. The payments section covers how these cashier rules tend to be structured.
A deposit address belongs to a network, not to a token. When you send USDT, you are asking one specific chain to move a balance from your address to the casino's address on that same chain. The casino's systems watch the chains it has chosen to support. Anything that happens elsewhere is invisible to them.
Some mismatches are caught for you. A Tron address begins with T and an Ethereum address begins with 0x, so pasting a Tron address into an Ethereum withdrawal form usually produces an error before anything is sent. The dangerous cases are the networks that share an address format. Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum and Base all use 0x addresses. Send ERC-20 USDT to a casino address that is only monitored on one of the others, or send on BNB Smart Chain to an Ethereum-only deposit address, and the transaction succeeds on-chain while the balance never appears in your account.
What happens next depends on the operator. The funds are sitting at an address the casino controls, on a chain it may or may not have keys for. If it does, and if it is willing to do manual recovery, you may get credited after a support ticket and a wait. If it does not hold the keys for that chain, the money is not coming back. Nobody owes you a recovery, and no support policy makes one certain.
Two habits remove most of the risk. Select the network explicitly on both sides and read the two labels next to each other before confirming. And when the fee is small, send a token amount first, wait for it to be credited, then send the rest. That test costs one extra fee and is the cheapest insurance available on a deposit screen.
Deposit in bitcoin and your balance has two moving parts: what the games do to it, and what the market does to bitcoin while you hold it. A session can end with more bitcoin than you started with and less money than you started with, or the reverse. That volatility window opens the moment you fund the account and closes when the withdrawal lands in your own wallet or on an exchange. Wagering requirements lengthen it, because a bonus balance you cannot withdraw yet is a position you are still holding.
A dollar-referenced token closes that window. One USDT is meant to be worth one dollar, so the only thing changing your balance is play. That makes the cost of the entertainment visible. If you deposit 200 USDT and finish a session with 170, you spent 30 dollars on the evening. With a volatile coin the same arithmetic is muddled by price movement, and it is easy to tell yourself the market took the money rather than the house edge did.
Be clear about what has not gone away. The house edge is unchanged: a stable unit of account is not a better price, it is a clearer one. Tether is an issuer, and the peg rests on its reserves and on market liquidity rather than on anything in the protocol, so you have swapped price volatility for issuer risk rather than eliminating risk. Bonus terms still apply in full, and a headline figure means nothing without the wagering requirement attached to it, which you can run through the bonus calculator. The edge is the price of the entertainment, and a stablecoin simply prints that price in a currency you already think in.
The cheapest one that both your wallet and the casino support. In practice that is usually TRC-20 on Tron, which is why most cashiers list it first and set their lowest withdrawal minimum there. Solana is also cheap where it is offered. ERC-20 on Ethereum works everywhere but costs Ethereum gas, paid in ETH, on every transfer. Check the casino's withdrawal minimums per network before you deposit, because you are choosing your cashout route at the same time.
Sometimes, and never as a right. If the casino controls the keys for the chain you sent on, a support ticket with the transaction hash may end in a manual credit, often after a wait and sometimes with a fee. If it does not control the keys there, the funds are unrecoverable. Open a ticket, include the hash and the network, and do not send more money in the meantime. Treat any recovery as a favour rather than an entitlement.
No. They are separate tokens from separate issuers, Tether and Circle, and a casino treats them as separate balances. Both are referenced to the dollar, and both exist across multiple networks, so the deposit mechanics feel similar. Which one to use mostly comes down to what the cashier supports and which one you already hold. Our USDC page covers the practical differences.
No. The deposit method has no effect on the maths of a game. The house edge is written into the rules and the paytable, so European roulette stays at 2.7%, blackjack under basic strategy is typically around 0.5%, and Stake Originals run at 99% RTP, which is a 1% edge. A stablecoin only means the balance you are spending is measured in a unit that does not drift. No stake pattern or strategy changes those numbers. If the spending stops looking like entertainment, the responsible gambling page lists support options.
