Set a bet and press Bet. Five diamonds are dealt. Matching colours pay per the table: pair 0.1x, two pair 2x, three of a kind 3x, full house 4x, four of a kind 5x, five of a kind 50x; no match pays 0x. Auto-bet repeats rounds.
Diamonds is documented at 98.29% return to player, which is a house edge of 1.71%. 98.29% (1.71% house edge). Stake's own page and blog blocked from this environment; figure corroborated by bonustiime.com, sportsgrid.com and deadspin.com. That percentage applies to every unit you wager, not to the money you deposit. Play a £100 balance through £2,000 of bets and the edge is charged on the £2,000.
No adjustable settings; low-to-medium variance with frequent 0.1x pair returns and a rare 50x (reported at roughly once per 2,500 rounds). Turning the risk up does not make a game more or less generous over time. It widens the distribution: frequent small wins become rare large ones while the average stays where the operator set it.
Diamonds has no player input, so there is nothing to optimise; the 1.71% edge is paid on every round regardless of bet size or timing. Because a pair returns only 0.1x, most rounds lose 90% or more of the stake, which makes bankroll depletion fast even though the game looks low-variance. Play it, if at all, with small fixed bets and a hard session limit.
This game publishes a server seed hash before each round and reveals the seed afterwards, so you can recompute the result yourself and confirm it was not changed after your bet. It proves the round was not rigged. It does not change the house edge.
Pair 0.1x, two pair 2x, three of a kind 3x, full house 4x, four of a kind 5x, five of a kind 50x.
No; the five gems are dealt at random and there are no holds or redraws.
Stake sets Diamonds at 98.29%; the paytable, not any player action, determines this.
