Solana's ledger is public and well indexed, and a single address shows your entire history to anyone who looks. Token accounts, NFT holdings and casino interactions are all visible together. Solana wallets make address reuse the default, which links activity more tightly than on chains where fresh addresses are normal. Identity checks at casinos apply regardless.
Solana produces slots faster than once a second, so once a transaction is included it confirms almost immediately. The fee has two parts. A small fixed base fee per signature, set by the protocol rather than auctioned, and an optional priority fee you add to improve your chance of being included when demand is high.
That second part is the important distinction. On Bitcoin or Ethereum, an underpriced transaction waits in a queue and eventually confirms. On Solana, a transaction that does not get included is dropped. Your wallet may report an error, or simply show nothing. Nothing was spent, but nothing arrived either.
So the correct response to a Solana deposit that does not appear is to check the explorer for the signature before you do anything else. If there is no transaction, resend with a higher priority fee. If there is a confirmed transaction, the funds moved and the issue is on the casino's side, which is a completely different support conversation.
Address poisoning is the attack to know about here. Someone sends a worthless transaction to your wallet from an address that matches yours, or matches an address you use often, in its first and last few characters. Later you copy an address from your transaction history instead of from the source, paste the attacker's lookalike, and send to them. It is cheap for the attacker and it works often enough to be worth their time.
The prevention is simple. Copy deposit addresses from the casino cashier every time, never from your own history, and compare the whole string rather than the ends. Solana addresses are long base58 strings and the middle is where a lookalike differs.
Memos are the other pasted field. Solana does not require a memo for ordinary transfers, and a casino deposit address will almost always work on its own. Some exchanges, however, use a shared deposit address for SOL and require a memo to identify you. That is a property of the exchange, not the chain. If you are withdrawing from a casino to an exchange and the exchange shows a memo field, fill it exactly. Omitting it there has the same consequence as omitting an XRP destination tag: the funds arrive at the exchange and are not credited to your account until a manual search finds them.
A Solana wallet needs SOL to do anything, including moving a stablecoin it holds. Withdraw every last unit of SOL to a fresh wallet and you can end up unable to send. It costs very little to leave a small amount behind, and it saves a frustrating detour later.
Casino minimums still apply. A balance below the site's minimum withdrawal is often unwithdrawable, which is a good reason to check that figure before you decide to leave an account dormant with a remainder in it. On Solana the network fee is never the binding constraint. The operator's minimum is.
The pending window is short here when payouts are automatic, which is the main attraction. It is not short when a site queues withdrawals for manual review or asks for documents at the moment you request one. During that hold the amount is fixed in SOL, a volatile asset, and you cannot act. Completing verification early removes most of the exposure. Sites that publish automatic payout behaviour are gathered on our instant withdrawal casinos page. And the speed itself deserves a note: a cashier that clears in three seconds makes it very easy to deposit again straight after a loss, which is exactly the moment to have a limit already set. Our responsible gambling page covers how.
Most likely nowhere, because the transaction was never included. Under heavy load Solana drops transactions rather than queueing them, so nothing was sent and nothing was spent beyond a possible failed fee. Check the explorer for a signature. If there is none, resend with a higher priority fee. If there is a confirmed one, contact support with it.
Not normally. Casinos issue a unique Solana address per user and the address alone identifies the deposit. The exception is on the receiving side: some exchanges use a shared SOL deposit address and require a memo to credit you. Fill in whatever fields the receiving service displays and leave blank only the ones it leaves blank.
You have no SOL to pay the fee. Every Solana transaction, including a token transfer, is paid for in SOL. Send a small amount of SOL to that wallet and the token becomes movable. Leaving a little SOL behind when you withdraw avoids the problem entirely.
Among common rails, usually yes, with Lightning for Bitcoin in the same range. Settlement is a matter of seconds and fees are negligible. Whether the money appears in your balance that quickly still depends on the casino's own confirmation policy, which is set by the operator rather than by the network.
